The dates for the Mexico International Copa Invitational have been
announced. This year, the competition will take place from
March 12 - 14. Team members interested in travel should
contact the coach immediately! We are looking for swimmers of ALL
ability levels age 9 and up (as of March 12th, 2010) who would like
a fantastic opportunity to get some international swimming
experience.
This is one of the best meets in the world for your age group
swimmer. It features competition at all levels from 9 years old all
the way up to Olympic swimmers. Not only do you get to compete
against kids your own age and ability level from all over the
world, you also get to watch an Olympic level competition at the
same time! The competition is real and so are the awards - real
medals and cash awards are given to the top scoring swimmers.
An opportunity this great doesn't come along very often. The
team will even subsidize your travel expenses. All hotel, ground
transportation (to and from the pool and to and from the airport),
as well as breakfast and lunch are 100% covered! All you are
responsible for is airfare and dinner. The Blue Dolphins will pay
50% (or more depending upon the number of swimmers going) of travel
expenses for eligible swimmers. We are also looking for parents
that would like to go along to help us chaperone the
swimmers.

going. You WILL need a passport to travel to Mexico.
